Now the Supreme Court judge Madan Lokur has also joined the list of those who oppose it. Recently he has said that, 'This law is against freedom of choice.

Lokur on Sunday gave a lecture and during this time he said, 'The ordinance that has recently passed in Uttar Pradesh is unfortunate. This is because it ignores freedom, dignity and human rights to choose ordinances. ' Apart from this, he also said, "These laws against conversion weddings are in violation of the law developed by the Supreme Court to protect the freedom of choice and dignity of the person".

During this time, Lokur referred to the Hadiya case of 2018. He said in his lecture, 'What happened to the order given by the Supreme Court in the Hadia case in 2018? Referring to the Supreme Court order, he said that it was said that a woman can convert to Islam on her own free will and marry a man of her choice. You all must know that after the formation of Love Jihad law in UP, cases have also come up.
