London: Hordes of Muslim fundamentalists protested outside the school and demanded the teacher's suspension after a controversial cartoon of Prophet Mohammed was published in the magazine Charlie Hebdo at a school in West Yorkshire, UK. After this, the situation became so tense that the headmaster of the school had to apologize in this matter himself and the teacher was suspended considering the protesters. At the same time, the teacher was forced to leave his house due to the threat of life.

According to the Daily Mail report, some of his students have now launched a campaign to save their jobs, according to which more than 13,000 people have signed a petition. Those who have supported his job-saving campaign have called him a 'good man' and a 'hardworking teacher', saying that he is a 'respecter of all religions.' The rest of the supporters also insisted that the school should stand by them, they are being bullied by the 'fundamentalists.'

A Muslim parent signed the petition, named Mohammed. He has said, "I would like to extend my support for the school and the concerned teacher. He has taught my daughter and she talks a lot about him. I would not hesitate to see them teaching him again. I am sure that there was no crime of the teacher and I hope that he will return to school after the investigation.”
