New Delhi: The opposition government's attack on the Agnipath scheme continues. Congress is today launching a satyagraha movement on this issue. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has said that there is doubt in the minds of the youth about this scheme. He has asked if the Agniveers will get 90 days' leave. Meanwhile, the Air Force has uploaded the full details on the portal for the restoration of the Agniveers.  

Adjutant General Lt Gen Banshi Punappa said that the notification for the recruitment of Agniveers in the Army will be issued on July 1. Then, people can start the registration application. The first rally for recruitment will begin in the second week of August. There will be a physical test and a medical examination in the rally, after which there will be an entrance exam, and then they will be sent according to the merit in the column. There will be rallies in 2 batches from August to November. The first lot will have 25,000 Agniveers. These people will come in the first week of December. The second batch of Agniveers will arrive in February. There will be a total of 83 Indian rallies across the country, which will be held up to every last village in every state of the country. The air force will begin its restoration on June 24, while the notification for the restoration of the Navy will come on June 25.  

According to the Navy, in the next 2-3 days, by June 25, our advertising information will reach the broadcaster's ministry. As per our timeline, on 21st November, our first batch of Agniveers, INS Chilka, will start reporting in Orissa. We are also making women Agniveers. I am looking forward to November 21 and I hope that the woman and the man Agniveer will report on INS Chilka.
