New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the G-20 Summit in Bali, Indonesia. This is PM Modi's first meeting with Rishi Sunak after becoming the Prime Minister of Britain. Rishi Sunak, an Indian-origin politician, became the head of the Conservative Party and the Prime Minister of Britain in October after the political instability in Britain and the resignation of Liz Truss.

Earlier, PM Modi also had a warm meeting with US President Joe Biden at the G-20 summit. During this, PM Modi also met French President Emmanuel Macron. Along with this, the Prime Minister also addressed the session organized here on food and energy security. During this, PM Modi also reiterated his stand on the ongoing war in Russia and Ukraine. He said that I have been saying again and again that we have to find a solution to return to the path of diplomacy to stop the war in Ukraine. PM Modi said that first, the second world war had caused terrible devastation in the world. After this, the leaders of that time made serious efforts to adopt the path of peace and today it is our turn. PM Modi said that I heartily congratulate President Joko Widodo for giving effective leadership to the G20 in this difficult global environment. Climate change, the Corona crisis, the developments in Ukraine and its related international problems have all created havoc all over the world.

PM Modi continued his talk and said that due to all this, the global supply chain has been destroyed. There is a crisis of supply of essential goods, essential goods, essential things for life all over the world. The challenge for the poor citizens of every country is more serious. They were already facing the difficulties of everyday life, they do not have the economic capacity to deal with the double whammy. We should also not hesitate to acknowledge that multilateral institutions like the United Nations (UN) have failed on these issues. And we have all failed to make suitable reforms in them. Therefore, today the world has very high expectations from the G-20, the relevance of our group has increased further.
