Ujjain: Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh is in the news these days. Recently, PM Narendra Modi inaugurated Ujjain's, Mahakal Lok. Ujjain city has always been a centre of faith for Mahadev devotees. After the inauguration of Mahakal Lok, tourism will see a further increase here. With the inauguration of Mahakal Lok, it is certain that the number of foreign tourists in Ujjain will also increase.
In view of all this, India's Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has made a big announcement. Nitin Gadkari has approved the tender for a ropeway of 2 km length from Ujjain railway station to Mahakal temple. The tender is worth a total of Rs 209 crore. Nitin Gadkari has tweeted that after the construction of this ropeway, it will take only 5 minutes to go to Mahakal temple from Ujjain railway station.
The total distance of this ropeway will be 2 kilometres. For this, Nitin Gadkari has given total permission of Rs 209 crore. Nitin Gadkari tweeted that the construction work of this ropeway will start in July 2023. Special arrangements will be made for passengers and devotees. Food zones will be created for people near the ropeway as well as waiting halls will be constructed where passengers will be able to rest. Passengers will also get toilets and bus/car parking facilities, Gadkari said in a tweet. The construction of this ropeway will start in July 2023.
