Every year the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated all across the country. This festival is celebrated with great pomp, but this year due to the pandemic, everyone has been asked to celebrate this festival at home. Today we are going to tell you about the marriage of Shri Ganesh. You must have heard he has two wives.

According to a legend, Ganesh used to worry about his body. Tulsi was fascinated by seeing Ganesha and proposed Ganesha for marriage. But Ganesh did not accept her proposal. Tulsi got angry with this and cursed Ganesha. Due to this curse, Ganesh got married twice.

When Ganesha's marriage began to get delayed and no one was ready to marry him, he became enraged and interrupted the marriage of the gods. Deities got upset due to this act of Ganesha. Then all the gods reached Brahmaji. Then Brahmaji sent his two Manas daughters Riddhi and Siddhi to Ganesha. Riddhi and Siddhi began to educate Ganesha. Whenever the news of marriage came to Ganesha, Riddhi and Siddhi distracted him. In this way, marriages of the gods began to happen without hindrance. This would make Ganesha angrier. One day Brahma Ji proposed marriage to Riddhi-Siddhi in front of Ganesha which was accepted by Lord Ganesha. Thus Riddhi and Siddhi married Lord Ganesha.
