Today is Ganesh Chaturthi and on this day everyone indulges in Bappa's special dish. Bhadrapad Shukla Chaturthi celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi and from this day onwards Ganesh festival is celebrated with great pomp. On this day people also fast and worship God. In such a case, if you too have a fast, you can eat something cooked in this fast. On this occasion, today we are going to give you the recipe for making special 'Sabudana Thalipeeth'. Sabudana - 1 cup (soaked in water overnight)
Potato - 1/2 cup (boiled)
Coriander - 2 tsp (finely chopped)
Rock salt - as per taste
Green chili - 1 (finely chopped)
Peanuts - 1/4 cup (roasted and ground)
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Water chestnut flour - 1/4 cup
Ghee - as per need
In a mixing bowl, except ghee, mix all ingredients with sabudana and make a dough.
After this, make balls in lemon shape.
Take two plastic sheets and grease them with some ghee. Now put a ball on the first sheet.
Then place another plastic sheet over it and give it a round shape with hands.
Heat a non-stick tava and apply some ghee on it and bake the thalipeeth till it turns light brown on both sides.
Sabudana Thalipeeth is ready. Serve hot.
