New Delhi: Raising the issue of immediate extradition of gangsters from foreign countries, senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha demanded their immediate return to India. Raghav Chadha said that this matter is not only related to Punjab but is a matter of concern for the whole country, therefore the Central Government should expedite the action to bring back the gangsters from abroad.

Referring to the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala and gangsters from the North American country active in violent crime in Punjab, Raghav Chadha said that many mothers have lost their dear sons because of these criminals. He said that some countries have become safe havens for these criminals. Recently the central agencies had also accepted that many dreaded gangsters are operating extortion businesses in India from abroad. Chadha alleged that, even after this, the central government is not sensitive to the extradition of these criminals.

He appealed to the Central Government to bring these gangsters to India immediately so that they could be given the harshest punishment. Raghav Chadha also targeted the previous SAD-BJP and Congress governments in Punjab and said that the governments of all three parties gave shelter to the gangsters, due to which many innocent lives were lost, but now the AAP government is taking strict action against the gangsters in Punjab.
