Ajmer: A youth has been arrested in Ajmer district of Rajasthan on charges of smuggling ganja. Jawaja SHO Vimla Chaudhary has recovered 1 kg 700 grams of ganja during an illegal drug prevention operation led by Ajmer Superintendent of Police Kunwar Rashdeep, ASP Sunil Kumar, Hiralal Saini.

The police officer said, the illegal drug prevention operation was being carried out by Superintendent of Police Kunwar Rashdeep, ASP Sunil Kumar, Hiralal Saini. In surajpura, on the basis of intelligence inputs, the police recovered 1 kg 700 grams of ganja from the police station Jawaja in Surajpura.

Police have registered a case in the NDPS Act and initiated an investigation. This is for the first time that the smuggling of ganja has come to light in Ajmer district. Ramraj, Mohan Ram, Bhanwar Lal, Babu Lal, Rajnikant and the accused were arrested in a team formed by the police. In the evening, the accused underwent a medical test from Jawaja Hospital. Todgarh SSO Narendra Singh is investigating the case.
