Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has recently appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to grant special status to Rajasthan under the National AYUSH Mission. Recently he has said that Rajasthan has the largest infrastructure in the AYUSH sector in the country. He also said that 5,000 AYUSH medical centers are running in the state. Today is Ayurveda Day. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the country and explained about Ayurveda.
Ashok Gehlot also participated in a program organized on the fifth Ayurveda day today. During this time, while addressing the program, he said, "Rajasthan should be given special status under the National AYUSH Mission." In this program, PM Modi dedicated the National Ayurvedic Institute of Jaipur and the Ayurvedic Institute of Ayurveda Teaching and Research in Jamnagar to the country. Under this, the National Ayurved Institute of Rajasthan has been awarded the degree of Honorary University.
On this, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said in his address, "Rajasthan has the largest infrastructure of AYUSH, in that case, it is given special status under the National AYUSH Mission, so in carrying forward the mission of National Ayurvedic Institute of Jaipur.” Along with this, Ashok Gehlot also said,“ The status of honorary university will promote better research in the field of AYUSH ”.
