Noida: According to the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation Act, it is now mandatory to get a pet dog registered. At the same time, now the administration is going to take strict action against those who do not register the dog. According to the instructions of the Municipal Commissioner, for those who have kept pet dogs in the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation limits and have not registered, each dog fee will be increased by Rs 1000 as per the rules.

Municipal Commissioner Mahendra Singh Tanwar has told that the data of pet dogs is being prepared in Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation, due to which the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation will be able to make upcoming plans according to the pet dog report. For this instructions have been issued to the concerned officer. Deputy Chief Veterinary and Welfare Officer Dr Anuj Kumar Singh have told that for those dog owners who have registered till March 31, the registration fee will be only Rs 1000 per dog, but after March 31, the registration fee will be Rs 1500. For those who do not register their pet dog by May 1, the fee will continue to increase by Rs 50 per day.
