New Delhi: There is a lot of debate in the country over toilets these days. The operation for toilet construction is going on. Government grants have also been procured to motivate people to construct toilets. Many slogans have been coined, through which the parents of daughters are being advised not to marry daughters in a house which does not have a toilet. It is the effect of the campaign that some daughters leave their in-laws and come to their homes because they have to defecate in the open.

Along with this, due to lack of toilets in the schools, the students had to face a lot of problems, due to this, the government has also instructed the schools to construct separate toilets for the girls in their premises. So that children do not have any kind of problem.

Many girls were also reluctant to go to school due to lack of toilets in schools, but there has been an increase in the presence of female students in schools since the government campaign. In fact, the students complained that they had to go home to use the washroom. It is clear that their studies are interrupted. Some schools have toilets, but the lock is installed on it, this opens only for the Principal or other teachers.

Imagine 1100 girls studying in a school. There is only one toilet for them to use, its cleaning is also not done properly. Recently, there has been a provision of building toilets in the newly constructed government school. Yet their numbers are far less than the requirement.

There was no provision of this in the schools of olden times. Because society was not focused on girl education. Now that girls are increasingly attracted to education compared to boys, they are leading the results, it is the government's responsibility to provide basic facilities for them in schools.
