Patna: 30-year-old Brijesh Rai was thrashed by bouncers on Monday night at Garden Galleria Mall in Noida. As soon as this news was received, mourning spread in his village present in Bihar. Father Shrikant Rai and Naam Manju Devi are completely broken after receiving the news of their younger son's death.

Talking to the media, Shrikant Rai, father of the deceased Brijesh Rai, could not hold back his tears. The old father said, 'The hand of the bouncer whose beating caused his son's death should be cut off and given to me, only then I will get peace.' And while saying this he burst into tears. In this incident, Shrikant Rai also expressed displeasure at Brijesh's friends. He said that the friends present at the time of the incident did not even bother to inform Brijesh's murder to his wife or any other family member and fled from the spot.

The same deceased's mother Manju Devi told, Brijesh had reached Bhagalpur on 20th April with the whole family to attend his sister-in-law's wedding and then returned to Delhi on 25th, the same night the incident happened. He said that Brijesh was about to come back to the village on May 30 to attend the Janeu ceremony of his nephew. Family members told that Brijesh Rai was married to Pooja in May 2015 and has a 4-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter. There is also a lot of resentment among the people of Hasanpura village regarding the death of Brijesh. The matter is being investigated by the same police.
