Zeenat Aman is one of the most popular and highest-paid actresses of her times. She was born to a Hindu mother and a Muslim father Amanullah who was one of the writers for the classic "Mughal-e-Azam", on November 19th, 1951. Zeenat was an only child and her parents divorced when she was a little girlHer father passed away when she was 13. She has featured in various big bollywood movies. On the one hand Zeenat Aman was on top of her career on the other hand her personal life was messed up.

Zeenat Aman fell in love for Sanjay Khan, who was married with three children. Zeenat and Sanjay fell in love on the sets of Abdullah.  Zeenat left everything aside and reached Sanjay’s house. There she was told that he was partying at the Taj. She reached the hotel to discuss her dates, at which point the “atmosphere suddenly turned cold and menacing”.

Sanjay Khan asked her why she had come to the hotel. Zeenat Aman, who had to return to Lonavala wished to settle her dates with him without making a scene. Sanjay Khan took her to the adjoining room and He beat her up, lifting by her hair and continuing to thrash her every time she fell and the worst part was that no one came to help her.

His wife Zarine entered and began cheering Sanjay Khan. “Give the bitch what she deserves,” she shouted as she started attacking the actress as well.  All the guests knew what was happening, no one helped her.  A person Steward who came to Zeenat ‘s rescue,  blood and tears streaming down her face. She was treated for eight days of medical attention to recover from this beating but the actress did not file complaint against him.

Her doctor also once revealed that, “This is not the first time this man has beaten her. Once before, she was given a black eye and kicked in the ribs so hard that I insisted on an X-Ray for fear of a crack.”

Zeenat Amand has featured in films likeAjnabee (1974), Roti Kapada Aur Makaan (1974), and "Yaadon Ki Barat" (1973), (1978). "Satyam Shivam Sundaram" (1977) didn't do well, Zeenat She is the first actress who Kissed her leading man on the lips for the first time on the Indian screen post-Independence and receiving a Best Actress Filmfare nomination. She received another Filmfare nomination as Best Actress for the controversial hit film "Insaaf Ka Tarazu" (1980). The actress has featured in various heated bollywood movies.
