Tuesday;June 6,2016: The government of Goa will host two days conference of State power ministers  from over the nation on coming days-June 16-17 to review, plan and monitor the sector.

Union Power Ministry to its Goa counterpart said,"State power ministers' conference has been scheduled to take place on June 16 and 17 in Goa,"

The meeting will be inaugurated by Piyush Goyal, who is the Minister of State for Power, Coal and Renewable Energy.

It stated that, "It will be attended by power ministers and secretaries of the State and Union territories and senior officials of Power and Public Sector undertakings of the ministry,".
