In the initial stage, its use can harm the patient's life. 2,104 patients were selected for research on the drug. They were given 6 mg dose every day for about 10 days. While 4,321 patients were kept in the general care unit. 

After twenty-eight days, researchers concluded the result that the risk of death from dexamethasone in corona patients on the ventilator was reduced by 36 percent.
