Delhi is the only region in the worst-affected states and union territories affected by Covid 19, where the number of active cases has declined over the last one week.
On July 3, the number of active cases in the capital was 26,304 which decreased by 18% to 21,567 on the morning of 10 July. The special thing is that during the same time, the number of national-level active cases has increased by 21.7%. The number of active cases in India has increased by about 50 thousand as compared to a week ago.
Apart from Delhi, the situation has improved in Haryana and Tamil Nadu. There are no active cases here, but its rate of increase is low at the national level. On the other hand, the proportion of the increase in active cases in Maharashtra is close to the national average. Looking at the data of the past one week, there are 6 states where there has been more than 50% increase in active cases. In the last one week, active cases have increased by 89% in Karnataka, which is the largest increase in large states. In Assam and Odisha, there has been an increase of more than 80% in the active case of Corona in a week. If Bihar is done, then the percentage of active cases here is 69. In Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan too, there has been a slight increase of more than 50% in a week.
