Many villages of the forest Kaudia development block are surrounded by the waters of the Rohin River. The people of Semra village are also very upset. More than a dozen houses are surrounded by water. No assistance has been given from the administration. The villagers say that there is no one to take the plunge. The same is the situation of Mohammadpur Mafi, Gajhganwa, Bhandro and Gaurakhas.

On the other hand, the Rapti River is flowing above the danger mark. There is pressure on the dams. The Rapti River is cutting across many areas on the Kotha Semra embankment. Water is leaking from the Rat Hole at many places near Belkur village. According to data received from the Central Water Commission, 2,18200 cusecs of water has been released from the Gandak River. On the other hand, the District Disaster Management Authority, Gorakhpur has said that the situation is under control. All arrangements have been made at 86 flood posts. There are 259 small and big boats available in the city. The residents have been alerted about this danger.
