New Delhi: The use of chemical fertilizers in agriculture is having a very bad effect on the fertility of the land. For this reason, governments are advising farmers to use organic fertilizers instead of chemical fertilizers in farming. The Bihar government has also announced financial assistance to the farmers for adopting organic farming.

According to the Bihar Agriculture Department, farmers doing organic farming will be given Rs 6500 per acre. This amount will be provided to the farmers under the Organic Promotion Scheme. To get this amount, farmers should have 2.5 acres of land. Farmers will get a total incentive of Rs 16 thousand 250 on 2.5 acres of land. For this, the farmer will have to apply by visiting the website of Bihar Agriculture Department. For any kind of information, help can also be taken by calling the toll free number 1800-180- 1551.

Let us tell you that the big difference between chemical and organic farming is the cost. If 1 acre of farming is done chemically, then the expenditure is up to 30 thousand per acre. On the other hand, in organic farming, work is done in just 5 thousand. On the other hand, if we talk about earning, there is more than 20% profit in organic farming as compared to chemical farming. At the same time, it is easy to sell the goods of organic farming and its buyers are found in large numbers.
