New Delhi: Now it is not necessary to go to the government hospital to get Corona examined. Now the coronavirus will be tested in private labs, that too absolutely free. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has released new guidelines related to this on Tuesday. However, there is a trick in this now that private labs have been asked to do the test for free, but they have been asked to buy the kit by paying them money.

Earlier also some private hospitals were doing the corona test. But there was a fee of 1500 rupees for the first screening and 3000 rupees later. ICMR director-general Dr. Balaram Bhargava said that the country is in dire need of such labs due to the threat of coronavirus. It is clearly stated in the guidelines that the lab should employ only qualified doctors to test the corona.

Primer and Probe are the two main things in the Corona test kit. Sarkar Labs is preparing the primer itself. At the same time, ICMR is giving them the probes. Their number is 250 per day or according to the requirement. The ICMR has said that labs wishing to do a free corona test will have to take both primer and probes. Both these things also happen in some commercial kits, which are recognized by the National Institute of Virology (NIV).
