Raipur: The government which is struggling with the financial crisis, has devised a new way. In which the government has decided to sell condom carts, furniture and other unusable materials of closed departments besides power plants, rice mills of Markfed. In which Chhattisgarh Power Generation Company's four plants of 50 MW each at Korba and 29 rice mills will be auctioned. Is preparing to raise more than 500 crores from the junk of these mills. In which the government has given clear instructions to all departments that before 31 March, prepare a list of junk. So that after the auction, after finding junk near any department, action has also been warned against the officials. The government is taking this step to reduce its debt. In which debt burden on the government has increased due to schemes like loan waiver of farmers, purchase of paddy at Rs 2500 per quintal, electricity bill half, the exemption in the registration fee. With such measures, the government has now decided to raise funds by selling dump junk in departments.

Minister in charge of Finance Department, CM Bhupesh Baghel, gave instructions to Chief Secretary RP Mandal. The ACS Chief Secretary of the Finance Department had asked to hold a meeting regarding the auction of the junk kept with the departments as well as the corporations and ACS has also taken the first meeting. Regarding this, all departments have been instructed to do the listing of junk. After this meeting of ACS, the Directorate of Industries has asked all its CGM and GM to collect all the information about the unused materials of the departments, corporations and boards of the work area within a week. A contract has also been made with the Central Government agency MSTC ie Metal Scrap Trade Corporation for the auction of the same scrap.

In this, along with PWD, other construction agencies have stored old vehicles and equipment. In which PWD has 79-80 road rollers, tractors, jeeps, shovels in addition to trucks, which also have unusable items. All these executive engineers have been instructed to make a list of all unusable materials. Officers have said that due to being in different offices, it is difficult to tell a certain amount, but there is a lot of junk in PWD itself. There is a lot of material that no decision is being made in the departments to sell decades-old junk due to lack of bill books, etc. According to the information, 4 plants of 50 MW each of Power Generation Company Are closed The state cabinet approved on 24 October to sell it. This plant was about 50 years old. Electricity generation from them is also closed for many years. If we say this, this old design machinery is no longer considered of any use. The power company is also preparing a list of plant machinery etc. The government is trying to collect funds through this so that the sense of debt lying on the government can be reduced.
