The scrappage policy may come into force shortly. The government has given its information in Parliament. On Saturday, Union Minister of State General VK Singh said that the government is preparing for the vehicle scrapping policy. Replying to a question, he said that the cabinet note of the new policy has been prepared for removal of unfit and old trains. It is believed that the fixation of the scrapping policy will strengthen the economics of the country facing sluggishness and decline.

The automobile sector will accelerate with the demand for new vehicles. Customers will get new vehicles up to 30 per cent cheaper. Air pollution from old trains will be reduced by 25 per cent. Large scale employment will be available at scrap centres. These benefits will get a letter of obeisance after selling the old car to the scrappage centre. This will show that the car registration of new car buyers will be done for free.

Large scale vehicle junk centres will be set up in the country which will create a large number of new employment opportunities. The automobile sector will be able to get parts like steel, aluminium, plastics cheaply in a cyclical order. According to media reports, the scrapping policy will now be sent to the cabinet shortly. The process of implementation will be initiated after obtaining permission from there.
