Greater Noida, The district administration on monday planted 1.1 lakh trees in Gautam Buddha Nagar district at ten locations under Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav's 'Green UP Clean UP' tree plantation drive.
30,000 trees were planted in Bishada and Harmony Park developed upon the initiative of District Magistrate N P Singh.
According to the DM, plants provide oxygen to all irrespective of religion or caste.
The locations has been planned by the Forest department officials and also supervised the tree plantation drive.
