Grossman's film Sweden natives are protesting in front of their country's parliament to gain media attention for skipping school, on their way to a speech that eventually went viral, criticizing world leaders for not doing enough to reverse the environmental crisis. The United Nations has also been drawn in. While using his fame to convince world leaders to act on climate change, Thunberg said that presenting his favour to the media put her at risk of letting her off the hook. Thunberg stressed "it just feels more convenient because if you pose next to a climate activist, you say you care about the climate and nothing else."
