New Delhi: Due to the Omicron variant of corona virus, different types of restrictions have started returning all over the world. The court has allowed the couple to get married online when the marriage of a couple was postponed due to the same ban. The Kerala High Court has passed the order on the marriage of a lawyer couple. In fact, the boy is currently in the United Kingdom (UK) and cannot come to India at the moment due to the restrictions imposed by Omicron. After which the high court allowed them to perform rituals online for their wedding.

Advocate Rintu Thomas, 25, and his fiance Ananth Krishnan Harikumaran Nair determined about a month ago that they would soon be tied up in the resultant formula. But perhaps they never thought that the corona epidemic would stand in their marriage. Nair is currently in the UK for higher education. He had booked a ticket for December 22 to come to India.

They were scheduled to get married on December 23. But due to the spread of Omicron all over the world, he could not travel. In such a situation, Thomas approached the High Court. He demanded the court to direct the state government and the marriage officer of the sub-registrar's office at Malekhiju in Thiruvananthapuram to get them married virtually or online.
