Ahmedabad: A tragic road accident has taken place in Anand in Gujarat on Wednesday morning. At all, 10 people were killed on the spot when a car and a truck collided on tarapur highway. All those who lost their lives in the accident were members of a family. All the occupants of the car were reportedly on their way from Surat to Bhavnagar when a car and a truck collided near Indranj village in Tarapur.

The collision between the car and the truck was so severe that 10 people in the car died. The deceased included two women, 7 men and a baby girl. All are said to be members of the same family. As soon as the incident was reported, ambulances and senior officials of tarapur police team have reached the spot. Detailed information is currently awaited.
