Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has changed the date announced for the martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur. Now there will be no holiday on November 24 on the martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur in the state. In fact, November 28 has now been declared a holiday for the martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur in the state. The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has issued an order to change the holiday date announced for the martyrs' day of Guru Tegh Bahadur.

According to the report, the state government has revised the date of the holiday announced for the martyrs' day of Guru Tegh Bahadur. An order in this regard has also been issued by the UP government. All schools, colleges, and government offices in the state will now remain closed on November 28. It is noteworthy that the UP government had earlier declared a holiday on November 24 for the martyrs' day of Guru Tegh Bahadur. Just a day before the holiday announced for the martyrs' day of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the General Administration Department of the UP government has issued an order to change the holiday date.

This order issued by the General Administration Department of the UP government has been sent to the heads of all departments, all the District Magistrates, the Principal Secretary of the Assembly as well as the Information and Public Relations Department. The order issued by the state government also said that the change in the holiday announced for the martyrs' day of Guru Tegh Bahadur has been done on the basis of the recommendation of Sahibji, Singha Wali Gali, and Yahiyaganj.
