Hamaresh, the nephew of actors A L Udhaya and Vijay, will make his acting debut in filmmaker Vaali Mohan Das' 'Rangoli.' The film, which will be produced by Gopuram studios' K. Babu Reddy and G. Satish Kumar, would be a bilingual that will be shot in Tamil and Telugu. According to sources close to the production, the film was officially released on Monday with a small pooja.

The film's script was written by Vaali Mohan Das, who worked as Vasanth's assistant director. Prarthana plays the female lead in this film, which will, according to reports, reveal the actual colour of our society.  The other cast and crew members are being confirmed, and a formal announcement should be made soon. According to sources, the unit intends to start shooting in May of this year. In Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kerala, major schedules have been planned.

The film's music will be composed by K.S. Sundaramoorthy, while the director of photography will be I.Marudhanayagam. R. Sathya Narayanan has been roped in as the film's editor.
