Tshering Phintso Denzongpa, popularly known as Danny Denzongpa, is an Indian actor and director. Age 75 years (25 February 1948) born in Gangtok, Sikkim, India Danny Denzongpa has so far worked in the Bollywood entertainment sector, and films in the Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil languages have included his artwork.

Tshering Phintso Denzongpa, better known by his stage name Danny Denzongpa, is a Sikkimese-Bhutanese Indian actor, director, and singer. He has appeared in numerous Tamil, Nepalese, and Bengali films over the course of more than forty years, in addition to several Bollywood productions. He has even appeared in a few foreign films, the most well-known of which was "Seven Years in Tibet," in which he costarred with Brad Pitt. 

\A few of his notable Hindi film roles are those in "36 Ghante," "Agneepath," "Khuda Gawah," "Bandish," and "Ghatak." Denzongpa, who was raised in a Buddhist home in Gangtok, always wanted to enlist in the Indian Army. Also, he was eligible for admission to a college for the military. He did, however, revoke his acceptance to study at the Cinema and Television Institute of India. He then made Mumbai his home along with his wife and two kids. 

Denzongpa is a skilled singer who has collaborated with a number of renowned Bollywood artists, such as Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar, and Kishore Kumar. He also writes, paints, and creates sculptures. He was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian honour, in 2003 for his contributions to Indian cinema.
