Actor-comedian Jagadish is turning a year older today. Jagadish ventured into cinema with the 1984 film ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’. In his career spanning over three decades, Jagadish has been part of over three hundred films On his birthday, here’s taking a look at some of the lesser know facts about the actor. Jagadish entered movies by the mid-1980s. He marked his debut in movies with the iconic film ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’, India's first 3D film.  Although, Jagadish entered movies through ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’, he shot to fame after appearing in ‘In Harihar Nagar’ a 1990 release. His role of Appukuttan in the film won hearts. 

He was a professor

Jagadish was a college lecturer before joining movies. He is a postgraduate and a rank holder. He did M.Com and worked in a bank for a while, and later he found interest in teaching and worked as a professor in a popular college.

He has crooned songs for a few films

Jagadish has always chased his dreams. From having a successful career in the banking sector to becoming an actor and later scripting for films, nothing was off-limits to the star. He was always interested in music and the actor has also crooned for a few movies. He has lent his voice to a few movies like ‘Praayikkara Paappaan’, ‘British Market’ and ‘Kalyaanakkurimaanam’ among others.

Worked as a cinematographer

He never took a back seat and yes he has also wielded the camera for a movie. Jagadish has captured the visuals for the 1978 film ‘Ahalya’. The film was directed by Babu Nanthankode. Jagadish cranked the lens and the movie featured Sheela, Prathapachandran, Aranmula Ponnamma, and Balan K. Nair in the lead roles.
