Today is the birthday of the world's famous chef Vikas Khanna. Vikas Khanna is celebrating his 50th birthday today. Vikas Khanna was born on November 14, 1971, in Amritsar and today is the time when he is the world's famous chef. Very few people know that Vikas Khan was disabled when he was born. Yes, he was not able to walk during that time, and that's why he sat in the kitchen with his parents for hours. This is where their cooking interest began. Vikas started working at the age of 17. At first, Vikas opened a small banquet hall behind his house, but here he could not succeed.

After that, he started many more businesses, but he consistently failed. Meanwhile, Vikas's family always supported him. During a show, Vikas had said that 'as a child, his grandmother used to make Parathas in a small street in Amritsar and he used to sell them with his mother.' Vikas was disappointed in the first two rounds when he went to college for admission, but in the last round, when asked about food, he had said that one day he would open an air-conditioned restaurant so that he would not have to cook under open roofs. Vikas came out saying this, but at the same time, the principal of the college came from behind and praised his passion and enrolled him in the college.

In an interview, Vikas himself said that the period when he went to the US was very difficult for him. He spent many nights sleeping on the streets and at the station, but he also had to do things like washing dishes several times. Vikas first got a chance to work at 'Salman Bombay' restaurant in New York and was then invited to attend a show about 7 years later. He was the first Indian to be on TV at prime time. Vikas then opened a restaurant called 'Passion' in New York in 2010 and is today the most famous restaurant in the United States. He has also cooked food for the PM and President of the developing countries and has received five Michelin Awards.
