New Delhi: Today is the auspicious festival of Diwali. The festival of Diwali is being celebrated even in the midst of the Corona crisis, but keeping all the guidelines in mind. Today Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the countrymen on Diwali. He has tweeted for this. In his tweet, he writes, 'Hearty greetings to all countrymen on Diwali. Happy Diwali to all! Make this festival more bright and happy. May all people be prosperous and healthy. '


Besides him, President Ram Nath Kovind also wished the people of the country on Diwali. He asked all citizens to take a pledge to be a ray of hope and prosperity for the poor, destitute and needy people of the society. The President said in his message, 'This festival celebrated by people of different religions and communities strengthens the feeling of unity and brotherhood in the country. It inspires us to serve humanity. On this occasion, we should pledge to be a lamp of hope for the prosperity of the poor, the underprivileged and the needy. Diwali is also a festival of cleanliness, so we should express respect for nature by celebrating clean Diwali in a pollution-free environment. '

 

 

He also wished that 'Diwali festival brings peace, prosperity and happiness to every household of the country'. Apart from him, many leaders have congratulated the people of the country and asked them to celebrate Diwali day with grandeur.
