Dehradun: Former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat said that BJP did a lot of propaganda in the name of Muslim University. Dhami Sarkar was born out of the womb of this false propaganda. But this government has nothing to do with the sufferings of the people. The government is only misleading the people by spreading lies and misinformation. Former CM Harish Rawat reached Doiwala on Monday. Where he reached the residence of freedom fighter Sadhu Singh Bisht and honored him with a shawl. Thereafter, Harish Rawat attended a function of lawyers at a Wedding Point present in Premnagar market.
In which former CM Harish Rawat said that in the Congress government, work was done for public welfare, development of the country, economy of the country. But now BJP is running the government by making only lies a medium. MLA Anupama Rawat, Chairman of Sugarcane Committee Manoj Nautiyal, Abdul Razzaq, Ishwar Chand Pal, Phool Singh Lodhi, Manish Dhiman, Gaurav Malhotra, Kartar Singh Negi, Gurdeep Singh, Tajendra Singh etc. were present in the ceremony.
Former CM Harish Rawat also talked about giving five lakh rupees from the earlier fixed amount of two lakhs to the person who brought the copy of the newspaper containing the statement related to the same Muslim University. He said, BJP raised this matter strongly but no one is coming forward after asking for facts. In a function organized in Doiwala, Congress workers demanded Harish Rawat to contest from Haridwar Lok Sabha elections. On this, the former CM said that the workers should work to strengthen the Congress instead of Harish Rawat. If Congress will be strong then Congress will win in Haridwar and other Lok Sabha as well.
