After receiving the dates from the court, Abhimanyu and Akshara reluctantly get ready for the proceedings in this episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Akshara is prepared to move forward with the divorce proceedings with Abhimanyu. She creates the paperwork by herself and is getting ready to go to court. Manish and Kairav advise them to accompany her today in court, though. Akshara expressly states that she prefers to go it alone and rejects their offer. Abhimanyu appears visibly upset about going to court. He calls Neil, Parth, and Shefali to see if they can attend the court hearing with him. He even invites Rohan to come if no one else is available. Abhimanyu turns to Harsh for assistance after trying everything and failing. Quick to concur is Harsh.
Neil is concerned about Akshara and Abhimanyu when he is back at the hospital. Neil is informed by Aarohi that the divorce has had no adverse effects on Akshara's ability to move on. Neil is shocked to learn this information; however, he is unaware that Akshara is only pretending to be joyful in order to cover up the chaos she is experiencing internally. As soon as Harsh becomes aware of this predicament, he tries to prevent Abhimanyu from going to court. On the way to the court, as he is driving Abhimanyu, he makes the decision to reunite Abhimanyu and Akshara.
Harsh intentionally bumps the bike onto another car after Abhimanyu requests that he drive more quickly—just so happens to be Akshara's only car. Abhimanyu is coerced by him to go to the court with Akshara after the bike breaks. Both of them board the same vehicle reluctance. They try to make fun of one another's broken hearts while travelling. However, it appears that neither of the two wants to proceed with the divorce, but their egos are still a little too big for them to speak out. After some time, they reach the court; Harsh and Manish follow them to make sure they're okay.
While constantly second-guessing their choice, Abhimanyu and Akshara move slowly and laboriously in the direction of the chamber. Abhimanyu leaves just before they are scheduled to meet with the counselor, and Akshara waits for him to come back. She enters the counselor's office to wait with him until he returns when he hasn't sooner. The counselor speculates that Abhimanyu may not want to divorce Akshara, which would explain why he is taking so long.
