There was a fierce furor in the Haryana Assembly on Wednesday. An uproar in the Assembly created a ruckus about the withdrawal of Dhaulidar (donated land) from Brahmins, Dhauldars, Bhundidars, Bhumihars, and others. Congress MLA Kuldeep Vats reached the assembly with a leaflet on the issue of return of the land of charity. It is written on these, do you stand with them for the rights of the poor? Kuldeep Vats also walked out of the house on Tuesday and staged a sit-in in front of the Gandhi statue inside the assembly, and now Kuldeep Vats has been distributed to the MLAs of all the parties coming out of the assembly to help on this issue.

Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala surrounded the Congress and former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda in the Assembly on the Dhaulidar land matter. It is said that former Chief Minister Bhupendra Hooda benefited his loved ones under the Dhaulidar Act and gave them the public land of the panchayat. The Deputy Chief Minister read the definition of Dhaulidar in the House and said that under this tradition a person could donate his own personal land to Brahmins on death row.

Regarding the return of land, Dushyant Chautala said that this act came in the former Congress government in the year 2011 and it was not written anywhere that the land of the panchayat would be given to anyone. The Deputy Chief Minister said that to give benefit to his special people, Bhupendra Singh Hooda used the word Panchayat while deciding the rules two years ago which is against the rules and tradition.
