Haryana Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala tested COVID19 positive

Chandigarh: Coronavirus outbreak is increasing continuously in the country. On Tuesday, Haryana's deputy CM and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) leader Dushyant Chautala also became infected with the coronavirus. Earlier in the state, many ministers and leaders have been hit by Corona and now Dushyant's name has also been included in the list.

Earlier in Haryana, many ministers including CM Manohar Lal Khattar, Assembly Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta, and about half a dozen MLAs have been tested positive for coronavirus. Last month, when the assembly session was held in the state, a large number of MLAs were found coronavirus positive. The corona crisis is continuously deepening in the country and on average, 80 thousand new cases are being reported every day, almost one thousand deaths. So far, the total number of corona cases in India has crossed 66 lakh, while the death toll is more than one lakh.

If we talk about Haryana, about 1.34 lakh cases have been registered in the state so far. However, now only about 12 thousand cases are active and 1.21 lakh people have become healthy. So far, around 1500 people have died due to COVID19 in the state.
