Haryana extends partial lockdown for another week, know revised protocols

Chandigarh: The Haryana government has extended the lockdown in the state to deal with Covid-19. This period has now been extended upto 19th July. Meanwhile, the government has also announced some exemption for others including students.

As per the order issued by Chief Secretary Vijay Vardhan on the basis of powers conferred under the Disaster Management Act, 2005, "Epidemic Alert- Safe Haryana is extended by another week. In Haryana, the period is extended from 5 am on July 12 to 5 am on July 19.’’

In fact, the State Government has also allowed many other exemptions. As per an order, universities and colleges have been allowed in this order to call students for doubt resolution, experimental classes in laboratories, experimental examinations, offline examinations etc. As per the order given, university hostels will be opened only for students appearing for the examinations.
