In Bithmada village, under Uklana, about 50 km from Hisar, an elderly woman belonging to a particular caste, Fuli Devi, was cremated with fire according to Hindu belief.

Satbir Singh, the son of the deceased woman, says that during the reign of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, his ancestors were pressurized to adopt the tradition of burial the dead body of the deceased, due to which he has since cremated his family. They were buried But his faith has remained in Hinduism only. He said that the people of the village also attended my mother's funeral.

Now 30 families of the village of Bithmada have decided to do the same. The deceased woman's nephew, Majir, said that in future, he will now perform cremation as per Hindu customs. Family members also told that they have taken this decision without any pressure.
