More than 1700 new cases of COVID19 reported in Haryana

Chandigarh: COVID-19 cases in Haryana are continuously breaking records. On Wednesday, the maximum number of 1792 new infected patients appeared in a day. Earlier on Tuesday, 1692 patients were found positive for coronavirus. In addition, 15 infected people lost their lives in the last 24 hours. The total number of deaths in the state has reached 721. The total infectious population has reached 68218.

The news of relief is that on Wednesday, 1040 patients returned to their homes after recovering. A total of 54875 patients recovered from COVID-19 so far in the state. Six more employees working at the CM residence have been found COVID-19 infected. In the past, employees have been affected by this virus. The Chief Minister himself is undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram after testing positive for coronavirus. Along with this, 19 employees of Haryana Civil Secretariat tested COVID19.

COVID-19 examination of employees is being conducted by setting up a medical camp in the Secretariat. On the other hand, in the canteen of Haryana Vidhan Sabha, two employees tested COVID-19 positive. In Haryana Legislative Assembly, the number of infected people is increasing. The assembly staff has demanded to call 50% staff while rest of the employees will work from home. The cases of corona are constantly increasing in the state.
