Chandigarh: Lakhs of students of the state will have to wait till the new year for the results of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test on behalf of Haryana School Education Board Administration. However, the board administration has already set 1 January 2020 as the likely date for HTET results to be declared. But this should hardly happen.

The board has entrusted the task of preparing the eligibility test results to three companies. All the three companies will check the exam results separately, so that there is no mistake of any kind. Results have almost been prepared by the board and the work of checking is going on fast. But being the last month of the year, most of the employees are engaged in fulfilling their outstanding holidays.

Chairman of the Board of Education, Dr. Giving information, Jagbir Singh said that the board administration is busy preparing the result of HTET. Most of the employees were on leave and due to being the last month of the year, they have gone on leave. Because of this it is taking some time. They have said that the eligibility results will be declared on or about 1 January. Let us tell you that these examinations were taken on 16 and 17 November.
