Chandigarh:An Army jawan and a Merchant Navy jawan riding bikes have lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Bhiwani district of Haryana. The accident occurred last night when a bike collided with a truck parked in the middle of the road. At present, the police have registered a pamphlet against the truck driver and started investigation. Sandeep Fauji, 29, a resident of Garhi village in Hisar, is said to have come to his maternal uncle's house in Bhiwani's village Premnagar. From here, he was returning by bike with his aunt's son and Merchant Navy jawan Deepak, 21, to an acquaintance in Mittathal village.
As soon as the two villages reached Tigdana, a village near Premnagar, they were hit by a byte from a truck parked in the middle of the road. The deceased Deepak's brother Ankit and Premnagar village sarpanch Narasimha have informed that Deepak and Sandeep were coming from Mittathal village. His bike collided with a truck parked in the middle of the road near Tigdana village around 2 pm. The duo was then taken to the hospital. Where both were declared dead. He explained that Deepak Merchant was in the Navy and Sandeep in the Army. The family members have demanded strict action against the truck driver.
Police officer Dinesh Kumar, who is investigating the case, said that bike riders Deepak and Sandeep were killed when their bike collided with a truck near Tigdana village. He said the truck is from Rajasthan, whose driver will be booked and investigated. The deceased Sandeep was the father of two children while Deepak was not married. Police said the small negligence of the truck driver extinguished the lamp of two houses and left two children orphaned due to such sudden and tragic death of the two jawans.
