Chandigarh: In the fourth day in Haryana, there is a rain in many cities. Due to which the situation of the state has changed rapidly. Rain brought relief from the humid heat. Now, farmers have also breathed relief from the arrival of rain. The maximum temperature has fallen from 6 to 7 degrees Celsius above normal to near 30 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the minimum temperature has reached between 25 degree Celsius. Haryana received 18.9 MM rainfall till 8:30 AM on Wednesday. The highest rainfall in Karnal was 60.8 MM. At the same time, 110 mm rainfall was recorded in most of the blocks in India. Heavy rains in Gurugram flooded the city streets. All the rainwater drains and sewer overflows of the city started flowing to the outside. The lanes of the sector and colonies also appeared to be extensively filled with water.

Advice to farmers: No water, rain water should be stored in Kharif crops and vegetables like soft, cotton, millet, guar, moong etc. Pests and diseases can cause havoc in cotton crop.

So far 179.3 mm rain in the state: Surplus rainfall has occurred due to the active monsoon in the last 4 days in Riyana. From June 1 to July 22, the state has received 179.3 mm rainfall. 156.4 MM is receiving normal rainfall during this period. In this way, Haryana has received 15 percent more rainfall. The state receives an average of 410 MM rainfall during the monsoon season. So far, there has been less rainfall in Mahendragarh, Mewat, Palwal, Rewari and Rohtak.
