Chandigarh: The Manohar Lal Khattar government of Haryana has announced a big gift for the laborers of the state. Now more scholarships will be given to the children of laborers studying in Haryana. CM Manohar Lal Khattar has announced this. The benefit of increasing the scholarship will be available to the children of those workers, who are registered in the records of the Haryana government.
According to media reports, till now children studying in class 9 and 10 were given a scholarship of Rs 7000, students studying in 11th and 12th class were given Rs 7750, rs 8500 for higher education. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced that the children of registered workers of the Haryana government will now be given a scholarship of Rs 10,000 in these three categories. In fact, CM Manohar Lal Khattar was interacting with the workers registered under the Building and Construction Workers Welfare Board and their families through audio conferencing. During this time he took this decision. In an official statement issued by the Haryana government, it has been informed that CM Khattar has announced to increase the scholarship while talking to the workers and their families.
Khattar said that the Haryana Government Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board will provide an amount of Rs 21,000 to Rs 51,000 on merit basis to the meritorious children of registered labourers. The Chief Minister also said that the Haryana Labour Welfare Board will also provide assistance of Rs 20,000 for coaching to prepare for the entrance examination.
