Mumbai: Private sector's largest lender HDFC Bank's consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June 1, 2021-22 rose 14.36 percent to Rs 7,922.09 crore, with the bank gaining an integrated net profit of Rs 6,927.24 crores in the April-June quarter a year ago. However, the bank's net profit fell lower in the quarter ended June as compared to the previous March quarter.
The bank's net profit in the January-March quarter was Rs 8,433.78 crores. The bank's single net profit stood at Rs 7,729.64 crores in the quarter ended June. 6,658.62 crores in the same period a year ago as compared to Rs 8,186.51 crore in the quarter ended March 2021. The total income of the bank has increased to Rs 36,771 crores in the April-June quarter as compared to Rs 34,453 crores a year ago.
The bank's Gross Non-Performing Assets (NPA) ratio increased to 1.47 percent in the quarter ended June 30, 2021, from 1.36 percent in the same period a year ago and 1.32 percent in the March quarter.
