The makers of Head Bush have started a recce to zero in on locations within Karnataka. Head Bush, which is based on the life of Bengaluru’s first MP Jayaraj, is directed by Shoonya. Dhananjaya will be seen in the role of MP Jayaraj. The story is penned by reformed underworld don Agni Sridhar.
As the movie is set between 1960s to 1980s, the team is struggling to find locations in Bengaluru as the city has lost its old look due to urbanization. The makers are now keen to shoot in Mysuru and Kolar by creating an ambience which looks similar to yesteryears. There are plans of erecting sets in Bengaluru if they struggle to find the right locations.
The shooting of the childhood portions of MP Jayaraj have been completed by the team. Akash is essaying the role of MP Jayaraj when he was young. The shooting happened in Guttahalli. Dhananjaya is getting beefed up to get into the skin of the character. If the government gives permission to shoot, they will begin this year. Charan Raj has composed the music. The film will be released in three installments.
