Ranchi: Lalu Prasad, who was languishing in the bur-faced fodder scam case, was charged with breach of jail manual. The case against Lalu for his jail manual violation is under trial in the Jharkhand High Court in Ranchi. The Jharkhand High Court bench will hear the case today on January 22. During the hearing, it will be determined whether the jail manual has been violated on behalf of Lalu Prasad or not? Do they need to be treated in RIMS or not?
Lalu Prasad's plea in the court of High Court Judge Aparesh Kumar Singh has been listed for hearing on January 22. A hearing is scheduled to be held in a case relating to violation of jail manual. Earlier, it was alleged by the CBI that Lalu Prasad was indiscriminately violating the jail manual. That is the contempt of the High Court order. They should be shifted to jail.
The court had sought a response from the government over the violation of the jail manual. The government had also responded, but on a half-hearted reply, the court expressed displeasure and asked to respond again. The government has again put its side in court. Lalu Yadav's jail manual violation case is scheduled to be heard today at a point related to his health. Lalu Yadav's health deteriorated a day before the hearing. Lalu Yadav, who is undergoing treatment at Rimes, has been informed by the hospital about the difficulty in breathing.
