New Delhi: Fire has started raining from the sky in Delhi-NCR. People have to bear the scorching heat. The temperature has reached around 44-45 degrees. The country's capital Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius on Friday. Similar weather is going to prevail in Delhi even today. However, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that there are signs of change in the weather from this evening.

In many states of the country including Delhi-NCR, the outbreak of severe heat is being seen at this time. Heat wave conditions have arisen at many places. In Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, the temperature was recorded above 43. On the other hand, heat stroke has started in Rajasthan. The maximum temperature here was recorded above 45. According to IMD estimates, there may be some drop in temperature from Sunday (May 14). However, this is not going to make much difference.

According to IMD, rain has been predicted in Tripura and Mizoram today. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rains on May 14 in many areas of Manipur, Nagaland, Assam. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain in Arunachal Pradesh. It may rain in these states for the next 3 days. At the same time, fishermen in the Bay of Bengal have been advised not to venture into the sea between May 12-14.
