Bhopal: Life has been affected due to continuous rains in Madhya Pradesh for the last several days. The rivers of the state are flowing above the danger mark. Contact with many cities has been broken due to floods in rivers. Due to heavy rains, the Indore District Education Officer has ordered classes in all schools (government and private) from classes 1 to 5 to be closed on September 14, 2019 by the India Meteorological Department due to continuous rain and weather forecasts. The torrential rains caused flooding in the basement of Maharaja Yashwant Rao Holkar Hospital.

The drainage choke caused no water drainage, which led to the accumulation of water by about one foot by Friday morning. The condition was that under the beds of the patients, water watered down to the jail ward, record room and x-ray room. The municipal team emptied the water by installing a motor. Patients were shifted to upper-floor wards. You know, the problem of lack of water drainage in the basement of MY Hospital occurs every rain. A seven-year-old boy was swept away after falling into a drain in Lidhaura Khurd in Sagar district of the state.

The Raisen-Sanchi road remained closed due to Betwa water coming over the Pagneswar bridge in Raisen. The Chanderi-Lalitpur road remained closed for the third day due to release of water from the Rajghat dam on the Betwa River near Chanderi in Ashoknagar. The river Narmada in Khandwa district is flowing above the danger mark. Due to which the Indore-Khandwa road has been disrupted.
