New Delhi: Due to the western disturbance, there is a possibility of heavy rains in some states of the country for the next 5 days. At the same time, torrential rains have been predicted in Kerala from today to June 5. With this, the weather in the rest of the country is expected to remain in its current condition. In Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the temperature is crossing 40 degrees.  

The maximum temperatures in these states are running 4-6 degrees above normal. At the same time, temperatures in Bihar, West Bengal and Sikkim are also 2-4 degrees above normal. In the latest forecast issued by the Meteorological Department (IMD) on June 3, an alert of heavy rains has been issued in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh in the next five days. Along with this, heat wave is expected in Bihar and West Bengal from June 3 to 6. There is also a possibility of severe heat in Maharashtra on June 3 and 4.

At the same time, the minimum temperature in the country's capital was recorded at 22.7 degrees Celsius on Saturday, which is 4 degrees below normal. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that Delhi is likely to remain partly cloudy during the day with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity in Delhi at 8.30 am on Saturday was 67 per cent.
