Mumbai: Former NCB Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede, who arrested Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in a drugs case, has received a death threat. This is not the first time this threat has been issued. But this time, this threat has been given from across the border and Sameer Wankhede is being threatened in the name of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
Kranti Redkar, wife of former NCB officer Wankhede, is scared of the threats she receives in the name of D Company. She has told that this threat has been given to Wankhede through a fake Twitter account. Apart from them, the threatening person has also threatened their daughters. After the fresh series of threats, Sameer Wankhede's wife and Marathi actress Kranti Redkar has questioned who will be responsible if she or her family is attacked in the future. Wankhede is going to file a police complaint regarding this matter.
Kranti Redkar told the media, 'Threatening, trolling has been going on for a long time. We have been ignoring it. Or we block such people. But for 2 days, a series of threats has started in a different way. Now the two Twitter handles from which the threats are being received seem different. They are not Indian Twitter accounts, they are international Twitter handles. These people hate India. They are threatening us by taking Dawood's name. Our children are taking names. They are abusing the country. The Government of India and Sameer are abusing Wankhede.'
